BNSF 2744
Rebuilt from a CB&Q GP30 in the early 1990s, this GP39E still features its signature hump on the roof, which made more room for the turbocharger and air intake equipment. The 2,250 hp GP30 was introduced in 1961 in response to GE's 2,500 hp U25B and Alco's 2,400 hp RS-27.
